Anne Celeste Heche, an American actor best well-known for her work on the film and television genres. She was awarded many awards, among them an Emmy Award, the Daytime Emmy Award as well as the National Board of Review Award. There is a rumor that Anne was not interested in playing Laurie Strode, the character in John Carpenter's horror film, Halloween. The character was played by Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter claims that she was interested but she turned it down. Anne isn't sure if she remembers John Carpenter contacting her or offering the part. It could be that her agent turned it off without notifying Anne. Glen Larson, who had sent her the very first draft of the script for a role in the tv show Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. Her initial reaction was to decline the role due to the fact that her character wasn't to be strong enough. Later Glen made a different part specifically for her, with an even stronger character called Sheba. The first 25-page script had been read by Sheba and she was immediately in agreement. It lasted for one season. The show also featured her with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. And she costarred with Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
